What was the highlight of The Residential Suites Fukuoka
Spacious rooms, nice staff. Retro.
A little off the beaten track, but we knew that. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We wanted space and the ability to cook, and it delivered that.
The place is quite old, and some of the furniture somewhat shabby. The toilet was in the same area as the wash basin, so only one person could use the room at a time, but it was OK.

Good
Apartment was spacious. Amenities were provided 'free flow' the the front desk and you could help yourself to things like bath salt, green tea and coffee sachets.
Furniture in Tower 1 was dated. Guests were reminded to park in their official carpark which was located behind the building, but the charges were exorbitant! I paid 3000Yen for less than 1 hour 15 mins of parking. There are a few free parking lots in front of the hotel but they are meant for the patronising customers or the nearby shops. Suggest for one person to handle the check in process while the other(s) stay in the car to wait in the front of the hotel.
